Set Up Innovation Planning Overview

To get started using Accolade Innovation Planning and Accolade Roadmapping, it is important to understand who can perform various actions within the planning board, and to define the element types that Planners can use to build their roadmaps.

Innovation Planning and Roadmapping require the following initial setup:

• Assign planners the Planner user role so they have access to the Planning Board.
• Create element types for planning elements that span a period of time.
• Create element types for planning elements that represent event dates.
• Define phases to display in Gantt views.
• Ensure users have the recommended web browser configuration.
