Microsoft 365 Web Apps & OneDrive Integration Overview

Important! You must have the Microsoft 365 Web Apps & OneDrive integration installed before proceeding. See the Accolade Installation Guide > Installing the Accolade Application > Configuring Accolade, for more.

Accolade versions 15.2 and later integrate with the Microsoft 365 web-based versions of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Accolade 15.2 and later users are also able to download Accolade documents to Microsoft OneDrive and Microsoft Teams channels. Users can open saved documents with the web versions of Microsoft 365 apps. This enables increased collaboration across geographies and time zones.

Depending on your user rights and permissions within the system, you can do the following with Accolade SmartDocuments for Office:

  • Download deliverable, activity, and gate document templates from Accolade, and create new versions of deliverable, activity, or gate documents.

  • Download related document versions from Accolade, and create new versions of related documents.

  • Save documents directly to Accolade from within Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

The contents of this Help documentation assumes you are familiar with using Microsoft Office applications, with using Accolade, and with the user roles and assignment types available within the system. Additionally, this documentation does not discuss general Microsoft 365 functionality.
