Updating Microsoft Project Task Status

An Microsoft Project plan associated with an Accolade project contains project-specific information regarding the project's stages, gates, deliverables, and activities. It can also contain tasks not associated with the other elements of the project, but that need to be complete within the project's schedule. Tasks within the project plan are also assigned owners.

The All My Work page includes any Microsoft Project tasks to which you are assigned as the owner, where you can review the task details and update the status to indicate your progress on the task.

To update an Microsoft Project task's status:

  1. From the Workspace menu, select All My Work.
  2. Click the task's name to display its details.

Microsoft Project tasks are identified by MS Project Task Icon.

  1. On the Microsoft Project Task page, select a task's status and enter any notes regarding the task.
  2. Click Apply to save your changes.

The updates are included in the Microsoft Project plan the next time the plan owner refreshes plan data from Accolade.
