Using the Portfolio Hierarchy Navigator

The portfolio hierarchy navigator is a feature that allows users to move seamlessly across multiple projects within a portfolio. Because portfolio hierarchy navigator is based on the hierarchy relationship type, when this feature is enabled, users can see the relationships that exists between projects. This gives users the ability to travel down the project's children or to travel up the project's parents and grandparents without leaving the project page. The portfolio hierarchy navigator also makes it possible for users to navigate to other related projects quickly and efficiently.

To move between projects, click on the project's name in the portfolio hierarchy navigator. If a project has children or parents, it will be indicated by a drop-down caret icon . You will be able to access related projects by clicking on the drop-down caret located within the portfolio hierarchy navigator. From there, you can navigate to the desired project.

The portfolio hierarchy navigator displays in the header of the project and can be toggled on and off based on user preference.
