Applying Trended Metrics Settings for Projects

The Content Settings dialog box provides options available for tables and charts in a pod for projects.

A layout with the Trended Number Metric and Trended Metric Table need to be associated to a process model to be visible on the project. The pod contains a gear Has Workflow Icon that you can click to access the settings.

The Content Settings dialog box in Trended Number Metrics contains a Table Settings section and a Chart Settings section. The Content Settings dialog box in the Trended Metric table only contains Table Settings. The selections made display in the pod with the layout.

Table Settings

  • Event Type – Select the event type to determine the dates. You can choose from:
    • All
    • Gate Decision Change
    • Migration
    • Scheduled Trended
    • User Trended
  • Select Date – Select the date for the columns.
  • Category – Select the category to determine the metrics.
  • Select Metrics – Select the metrics for the rows.

Note:  Selected metrics not included in a trend do not display in the table.

  • Differential Display (only in the Trended Number Metric) – Select Number or Percentage. Number calculates the difference between column values and displays as a number change. Percentage calculates the difference between column values and displays as a percentage change.

Chart Settings (only in the Trended Number Metric)

  • Display Chart – Check to display the Line Chart Trends chart in the pod.
  • Vertical Axis Number Format – Select the format to display the numbers in the chart and table.
  • Legend – Determines placement of the legend.
  • Chart Color Theme – Select the color theme for lines and legend.

Once the selections are made, click Apply.
