Using Capture Trended Metrics for Portfolios
Trended Metrics can be captured to record the current state of all projects on a portfolio. Metrics with Track History turned on are trended for the projects in a portfolio. The trend date is available for Online Reports and pods. See Trended Number Metrics in Available Pod Types.
Process Managers with Manage Process rights, Project Managers and Idea Managers who own the project, and Team Members with extended project edit rights, can capture trended metrics for projects in the portfolio.
To capture trended metrics:
- Display the portfolio project.
- Click
in the upper right corner of the page and select Capture Trended Metrics.
Dialog boxes display to indicate the metric trending successfully started and when completed.
