Creating Portfolio Presentation Templates

Use the Portfolio Presentation template to create a presentation deck showing portfolio level and project level information from a portfolio. This is useful for portfolio review meetings. The Portfolio Presentation template type supports the usage of existing smart presentation field codes, along with some codes unique to the Portfolio Presentation.

The Portfolio Presentation template is made up of 2 types of slides: a summary slide that contains portfolio level information along with information about each selected project in the presentation deck, and project level slides that contain information about each project. This slide, or slides, will repeat for each selected project.

To repeat a slide for all selected projects under the portfolio project:

1. Create a new shape on the slide that is to be repeated.
2. In the shape's alt text, put the following field code: {*FLAG:RepeatForSelectedProjects*}.

Note:  The shape with this alt text will be hidden on portfolio generation.

To generate a summary slide for all projects under the portfolio project:

1. Create a slide to hold the summary shape.
2. Add a new shape to the summary slide.
3. Add a PortfolioSummary field code to the shape's alt text.

The final field code should look similar to this for BulletedList:

Note:  The PortfolioSummary should not have the {*FLAG:RepeatForSelectedProjects*}
